Social

At Northwood University, I run all of the official university social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, as well as additional Facebook pages for the university's president and alumni group. This involves creating and distributing content for aimed at potential and current students, alumni, corporate and community partners, donors, faculty and staff and more. I am also responsible for managing a team of student Social Media Ambassadors in order to capture an authentic student experience across our channels.

From February 2013 through January 2016, I ran all social media for the Office of Graduate Programs. This included creating and curating content to be posted for potential and current students, faculty and staff, and alumni relating to the university, graduate studies or any of the 30+ graduate programs.

From May 2011 through February 2013, I was the main contributor to the Easter Seals DFVR Facebook and Twitter. The channels were used to promote events, share articles that would be of interest to parents of children with disabilities, and share program and therapy news.

At Northwood University, I am the main website content contributor, heading up both content creation and strategy. Throughout the last year we have transitioned to a brand-new, custom CMS along with an updated look and feel. As an ongoing process, I am auditing all site content to create a consistent brand experience for all of our visitors.

Video

Easter Seals DuPage Fox Valley - Amy Takes a Walk

I fully created this video from concept through filming and editing. This purpose of the video was to highlight a new piece of equipment that was now available for use at the center while also sharing a story of the organization's mission in action: to enable infants, children, and adults with disabilities to achieve their maximum independence.

UM-Flint Educational Leadership Pathway Overview

For this campaign, I worked with our campus videographer to create a series of videos to announce and advertise the newly formed Educational Leadership Pathway. I worked to create the concept, book the interviews, write questions and and conduct the interviews. During the editing process, I worked with the videographer to select the clips that would fully represent the message of what the program offers.
